Team Bi-Lo Wins XTERRA Age Group
Team Bi-Lo racer Cissy Fowler placed 2nd overall and won her age group in the XTERRA Fort Yargo at Windor, GA on Saturday. There was a 1/2 mile swim, 10 mile mountain bike, and 5 mile run. Great job!

The Low Country VW Race Weekend took place in Charleston, SC. Saturday's race was in I'ON village on a 1.3 mile 4 corner course. Team Bi-Lo rider Susan placed 4th and Melissa placed 19th. Sunday is always a crowd and racer favorite! The course was a flat 1 mile oval in beautiful Hampton Park. Jenn took the bronze for the SC State Women's Cat 4 criterium championship and 8th overall in the race. Susan placed 13th in the women's open while Melissa placed 20th. It was a great weekend of racing under beautiful sunny skies and cool ocean breezes. Great racing ladies!
The Cohutta 100 is a mix of fast moving rolling terrain and big climbs that covers 65 miles in the Blue Ridge mountains of Georgia. Team Bi-Lo rider Cissy placed 3rd among the women racers in 6 hours and 30 minutes. Looks a little muddy out there! Great job!
Saturday, April 12th the Freewheelers of Spartanburg hosted the Donaldson Center Road Race. Women raced a total of 36 miles in treacherous downpours and lightening. Susan (4th) and Amy (8th) finished strong for Team Bi-Lo!
Sunday, April 13th the road race was held at Walnut Grove. The course featured a 27.5 mile loop with 9 rolling hills and a flat, fast finish. Sole Team Bi-Lo teammate Susan raced, but due to mechanical reasons was unable to finish in the top of the pack. A rough weekend for racers in the Upstate! Stay tuned, next weekend are the fast crits in Charleston, SC.
The Cooper River Bridge Run took place Saturday, April 7 in Charleston, SC. Team Bi-Lo runners Amy Carter Hutchison (46:47), Danna Brown (49:17), Jen Kahn Hutchison (58:05), Tiffany Irwin (59:25), and Kimberly Morgan (1:6:11) ran the 10K race.
